Junk drawer = shit drawer?

Julie discusses junk drawers and how to manage them with ABC radio host Adam Shirley, who calls his the Shit Drawer. It is a source of frustration in his household.

That’s because a lot of its apparently worthless contents, but are they really? Where else does one go for a battery, an elastic band, or a phone charger?

This drawer is a fundamental cornerstone of kitchens everywhere. Maybe it just needs a rebranding and some maintenance.
